I
offer
Repair and Installation of Electronics and Computers
Please
call
today, whatever the situation!!
1.
Electronics
Typically these
days, when purchasing consumer electronics and small appliances, there
is an offer of an additional "Replacement" warranty.
The reason is
that with such massive mass production, cheap off shore manufacturing,
and lower overall product quality, it simply is not practical
to
have things repaired. Because of this, there are no
longer all that many places to have things repaired, or for a price
that makes it a reasonable
decision. However, sometimes the fix is not very expensive,
and that's where I come in.
If you have a device in need of
repair, ask me. I will give you my best advice as to
whether, or not it is worth it, and we can go from there.
For items
like large screen TVs, there are businesses around
here that specialize in repair. It's what they do all
day, and they have the special
equipment,
service data, training, experience, and parts for the job. I am
always happy to help you find the best solution to a repair issue. Sure, I'm in
this to
make a living, but while I'd love to have the business, it's important
that I provide my clients with the most fair, and honest remedy to their particular
situation. If it's a simple fix that doesn't require
specialized service, then I'm your guy, too.
I also offer wall mounting services
for TVs, and installation of non built in audio/video, or other
electronic equipment, wire harnessing, etc.
2.
Computers
There is nothing more frustrating (to me,
at least) as an issue with a computer. I can help with
that. I can help regain the speed that's been lost, or
provide hardware repairs, upgrades to existing equipment, building new
systems or finding the best pre-built solution for your needs.
I can also help with home network
setup, and the use of your computer.
LAPTOPS
Even the smallest repair of a laptop can be a very delicate, and time
consuming procedure. I charge a minimum of $25
to work on
one, even if it doesn't get fixed. Otherwise the charge is
between $55, and $75 depending on the difficulty, plus the cost of
parts.
3. Flat Screen Computer
Monitors
Big, old CRT computer monitors are obsolete. Flat
screen LCD units have become the norm, and they're are steadily
coming down in
price.
When a flat screen monitor craps out, because of the low
replacement price, repair is, again, either practical or
impractical. A repair that is
reasonably affordable can usually only be determined by opening up a
monitor, and troubleshooting to find the
problem. It's not as difficult
to
dissect a monitor as it is with a laptop, so there is no minimum
charge. I offer a $55 flat rate repair service for
the monitors that are
practical to fix.
If I open a monitor and find that a repair is impractical, you don't pay a
dime for the service.
